Note: the programmer used must already program the 28 pin DIL version of the same part. Please examine the data sheet for suitability. The spacing between programmer socket pin rows underneath is 0.6", which is the best choice for programmers with universal ZIF sockets (Most programmers use the black Aries socket). See also AD348 if you are programming PIC16C5x), or AD520 for a 0.3" pitch version.
